Does anyone know how to remove a ground glass stopper of a round glass bottle?

I tried to put in the fridge thinking that the release May but did not. DW40've tried and not working. Not moving. I would be interested if anyone has any other ideas on how to separate them. Once they mate and the cap of the bottle glass.
